Dear DB friends and volunteers:
The 4th annual DB Pool Party is coming up. We’ll have pizza, chicken wings, salads and sides, along with plenty of goodies and drinks. You are encouraged to bring along a salad, side dish or dessert for the buffet. The pool and outdoor Jacuzzi are heated. There is a ramp for wheelchairs to get from the pool to the house where the buffet and bar will be set up. We’ll also have the new tactile skee ball game (part of the Tactile Carnival) set up for use. If weather permits, we’ll have rides on the two-seat trike.
When: Saturday, July 12 from 12:00 to 5:00.
Where: The Stoffel house 2201 Locust Drive, Lansdale, PA 19446. We’ll be around the pool in the backyard and have food and drinks just inside the glass door on the patio. Guests can park along Morris Road near the fence with American flags and come in through the backyard gate down there or drive around to the front and park along the driveway on Locust Dr.
There is a bathroom and changing room in the house near the patio door for anyone that wants to use the pool or Jacuzzi. The pool has stairs and a railing and is five feet deep at the deepest point, three feet in the shallow areas. And if we get a passing shower, there are umbrellas and a covered patio.
Admission is free for everyone.
If you’d like to attend, please respond to Scott (contact info below) and state any food items you plan to bring. Also, if you are deaf-blind and need a ride to the event, let Scott know.
